Cool Cully Clinches Cup
RONNIE CULLY produced a superb back nine to clinch the SFWA autumn outing prize at Cawder Golf Club.
The former Evening Times man picked up 23 points after the turn to edge out a congested chasing pack and land the silverware.
Lindsay Herron finished second and Chris Jack came home third as defending champion John Docherty narrowly missed out on a podium place despite also posting an impressive tally of 33 points.
Matthew Lindsay took the honours in the long drive competition and the closest to the pin prize went to John Barnes in difficult scoring conditions.
Our thanks go to Cawder Golf Club for their help and hospitality and to sponsors William Hill for their continued support.
