Cully's the king of the Castle
AFTER a few near misses Ronnie Cully has finally become an SFWA major champion.
The former Evening Times man was in sparkling form at the annual golf championship at Bothwell Castle Golf Club.
Cully proved he can still drive the ball as well as he handles executive vehicles in his new life at the home of golf in St Andrews.
He was hotly pursued by the Daily Record’s Craig Swan but kept his game together to shoot 36 points, winning by five.
Our new president Lindsay Herron was third while BBC Scotland stalwart John Barnes finished in fourth place.
